• Need someone with very good written communication skills.
• Experience with international or global operations through public accounting or private is preferred.
• Public accounting is preferred experience b/c they'd be familiar with financial statement prep, general ledger experience to provide write-ups on systems.
• Potential for conversion
• Revamping process to try to make sure we're as efficient as possible. ID process improvements, be efficient in setting up entities.
• Typical day: initially researching and getting due diligence back from advisor, project steps:
o Work with adviser who has detailed questions to support due diligence in countries. Schedule one or two calls with follow up questions. Write those up to a form to have leadership approve.
• Need someone with flexibility, dealing with different countries. At least once or twice a week, there's either an early morning or late evening call. Would want this person onsite.
• Top 3 skills:
o Need requisite level of experience in accounting dealing with financial statements. Probably an ex-auditor and has international experience.
o Written communication needs to be strong.

o Research and produce accounting requirements for business expansion projects that create new legal entities in new countries for Client. o Project manage accounting and reporting solutions for new legal entities and support the entity project until it is operational and can be transitioned to local and/or functional internal accounting owner(s). o Partners with new business launch project teams in developing solutions to support our high growth rate through launch methodology design and training. o Addresses business pain points by gathering feedback and driving for improvements in speed and quality in expansions across all teams. o Coordinate with the worldwide accounting teams to develop to ensure strong communication and new business launches and best practices are identified, implemented and followed.
required skills
o Bachelor's degree in accounting required, CPA or equivalent. o 7+ years of relevant experience in accounting. o Sound knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS (preferred). o Experience developing or auditing financial statements, including international statutory accounting and external filings. o Basic IT and ERP system integration experience. o Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. o Experience of project management and an understanding of project management concepts. o Experience with translating accounting practices into operational processes and requirements.
