Lead and manage, working closely with the Client Public Sector Business Officer team, the mission-critical task of maintaining and facilitating all of the contract vehicle and government processes for closing large, complex software license, maintenance, and service transactions, and for following-through on all post-closing processes, documentation, and record keeping. These transactions are often multi-million dollar deals with large Government Agencies and involve very detail oriented and time-sensitive oversight and work-flow management, often working with company resellers and government procurement professionals.

This position will work closely with the Client Business Officer Team and Public Sector sales team to update, maintain and help drive deals in and through complex procurement processes. Additionally, this role will have detailed involvement in all aspects of managing Client's public sector sales contracts and vehicles, and in staying current on all required filings, certifications, and other required process and compliance documentation.

In this role, you will:
  • Monitor and update Client's ongoing Government price lists, Government specific product bundles, and other filing and compliance requirements for 20+ federal and state public sector resellers and Public Sector contract vehicles.
  • Facilitate and track the multi-step Quote to Sale completion process to assure that Client's Quotations are responsive to, and in compliance with, each Government Agency's requirements. Once transactions are closed, follow-through on all processes, documentation and record keeping to maintain comprehensive and compliant information and files.
  • Facilitate and process the annual maintenance renewals on all past Government license sales to assure compliance with requirements of each Agency & Contracting Officer.
  • Complete, file, update and track Representations and Certifications and Disclosures (100's annually) for EOE, Corporate Structure reports, insurance statements, data management statements, data privacy, security, business continuity, EEOC, certifications of accounting systems, etc.
  • Closely monitor and update Client's GSA and SEWP Schedules, NASPO Schedule, California SLP and CMAS Schedules, and other federal and state contract schedules.
  • Document internal procedures in preparation for government queries and audits by Client's Public Sector customers: i.e. NSA, FBI, Department of Justice, Client, Census.
  • Maintaining internal Public Sector files and records, including all software, maintenance, and services transactions (and all related documentation) to comply with government standards.
    Assist with the Public sector RFQ, RFI, and RFP response process.
You are a highly skilled contracts manager with a successful track record of supporting the process for closing complex and highly detailed Public Sector software license and services deals. In addition, you will have a background in structuring and managing comprehensive government contract vehicles and related reseller and process steps, including meticulous file and record maintenance, in addition to exercising sound business judgment in all circumstances.

Qualifications include:
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and other Government regulations and operational requirements. Each US State, and Canada, has its own. We sell to over a dozen States.
  • Hands on experience working successfully with Government Contracting Officers.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in a legal, business operations, and/or sales support function.
