Client Workplace Solutions Technology organization is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Modeler to join the Data Integration team. In this role, you will translate and transform business requirements into data models, be responsible for logical and physical modeling in ERWin, and drive conversations with business and development to optimize the schema structure.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Translates and transforms business requirements into data models (conceptual, logical and physical) Analyze source system data using profiling tools Evaluates database and data and develop the data model appropriately Design data models in data modeling tools (e.g. ERWin) Communicate with key stakeholders to facilitate discussions about data modeling



Identify and analyze information flows and interfaces between corporate business processes and in transforming the information into logical databases and relational database definitions. Participate in the analysis and resolution of issues related to information flow and content with clients and IT management and staff. Monitor data architecture standards and conventions and provides data model and entity relationship diagrams as required. Assists in the application of data access and security methods to ensure compliance with installation standards. Develops technical expertise in data modeling directions, methodologies, techniques and tools to ensure development of logical and relational database designs that meet the needs of the corporation and client areas. Receives general supervision and is competent in most aspects of data analysis applications to work on own most of the time

Skills:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience as Data Modeler on data warehouse projects years
3+ of experience with ERWin or other data modeling software years of
3+ experience developing service and ad hoc oriented data models
Strong written and verbal communication skills
