The primary responsibility of this position is the development and deployment of analytics to support the Supply Chain department.  This includes gathering, analyzing, and reporting of data in support backorder metrics, cycle count metrics, schedule adherence, and the like.
Tasks and responsibilities:
•             Assist Supply Chain team with developing best practices for consistent data recording, and gathering
•             Partner with Supply Chain team to develop & document a streamlined cycle counting process and reporting, and any other metrics/reports as assigned.
•             Analyze batch records for accuracy in order to utilize for back-flushing in ERP system.  Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehousing, and Production functions as needed to ensure that any investigations of inventory are completed based on batch record issues.
•             Ensure that Production, QC, and Warehouse personnel are kept in close communication regarding the status of batch records.
•             Assist with the development and documentation of an aging inventory/expired inventory scrap process. Coordinate and execute the scrap/disposal forms as needed for excess/obsolete materials.
•             Process a variety of forms and information as instructed.
•             Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of Client Quality Management System per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
•             Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
•             Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies.
•             Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job. Has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities.
•             Perform other duties & projects as assigned.

Preferred educational background:
BA/BS degree in Operations or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience.- degree is preferred
Preferred experiential background:       
•             2-3 years related experience.
•             Familiar with federal and other regulations, e.g. QSR's, ISO, ISO 13485, CMDR.
•             APICS certification desirable.==>supply chain certification
•             Microsoft Office Suite expertise (Microsoft Word & Excel).
•             Familiarity with MRP2/ERP2 desirable. Sage a plus.
