Equality Content Specialist Full-Time Contractor

The Equality Content Specialist is a full-time contractor role who will support our Content and Narrative Manager in building high quality, inspiring, and empowering content that will help drive our company's Equality mission. A successful candidate will be a strong writer and communicator, a self-starter, fast learner, highly collaborative, have a creative eye, fundamental design skills, and an interest in topics such as diversity, inclusion, ethics, and human rights.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support Equality Narrative and Content Manager in building written content and conducting research — this includes blog posts, event content, Trailhead learning modules, presentations, and more.
Partner with our Creative team to multiply visual content output — making quick edits or updating templates when needed
Some Presentation design support (Powerpoint and Keynote).
Learn and evangelize the Equality voice, brand, and presentation style.
Organize content library and innovate to build the most efficient processes
Copy edit Equality-related content to ensure voice, tone, and accuracy
Work to have diverse representation and inclusion in our storytelling
Track success and reach of our content

Strong writer and editing skills — related Journalism, English, Communications degree or Equivalent Experience preferred
Proficient in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Photoshop. Keynote, Illustrator, and InDesign experience a plus.
Fast learner with ability to take and quickly act on feedback
Self-starter who can wear many hats on a small team
Flexible, fast-moving, thrives in a fast-paced environment
Exemplary communication skills and strong attention to detail
Creative eye and fundamental design skills
Likes working collaboratively
