Front Desk Job Description
Summary

The face of our company, providing that essential first impression to our guests and serving as a constant resource for our employees. This position requires a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities
Providing excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner
Ensure customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods
Making sure the front space is properly displayed to be show ready
Administered day-to-day tasks such as keeping accurate records of vendor receipts, handing out a badge, etc.
Building relationships by being welcoming and engaging presence for customers and employees.
Having that confidence in our desire and ability to assist them so they can focus on their tasks, and not on their workspaces.
Being able to be dependable and responsible, able to balance various task efficiently and in a timely manner
Use verbal and written communication skills prove through customers/employee satisfaction in every interaction
Making sure the space is safe, clean and usable.
Follow business practice guidelines, procedures, and policies.

Tasks
Greet employee and/or customers at the front desk
Check in all interviewee and validate parking
Check out a temporary badge to employees who have forgotten badge at home
Check out visitor badges to all visitor over the age of 18after having them fill out the NDA, notify host to pick up.
Receive FedEx/UPS/courier packages; notify or distribute to employees
Process all outgoing shipping
Assist with food deliveries
Straighten conference rooms at end of each day
Follow Task List for scheduled tasks for daily, weekly, monthly
Keep statistical data on services provided
Maintain the coat room and make sure it presentable
Maintain the two guest restroom and making sure they are fully stocked and clean
Making sure the pantry is fully stock and the food are clear out by EOD
Maintain a clean mail room, pantry and reception area

skills
Hospitality or other customer service experience preferred
Self-starter; handles self with minimal supervision and is pro-active
Ability to plan and organize work in the required areas
Being able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in using Gmail, GCal and Google Docs
Must have a great can-do attitude and willingness to complete the job
