As a core member of a mid-sized team, the Sr. Provider Data Analyst supports evolving Provider Informatics strategies through detailed financial analytics and consultative support.  The Sr. Provider Data Analyst is goal oriented, motivated by analytics, an effective communicator, can identify and troubleshoot issues and is able to work within project deadlines. The Sr. Provider Data Analyst needs to be prepared to take initiative and lead change in situations where limited guidance is available.

Key Accountabilities:
•Lead the implementation and transformation of an enhanced analytic reporting model
•Measure and manage financial efficiency opportunities for ACO's within value-based contract arrangements
•Develop and deliver monthly/quarterly reports for our commercial and Medicare populations
•Participate in Provider Informatics DataMart testing and improvement assessments
•Manage multiple analytic/financial reporting responsibilities at once
•Identify and document risks within varying data resource environments
•Develop programs and processes to research outliers presented in data workflows
•Assists in providing technical guidance and training to end users of data/applications
•Facilitates data analyst workgroup discussion among informatics team and internal stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree in related field required (Finance, Math, Economics, Actuarial Science, etc.), Master's Degree preferred
•Professional with a minimum of 3 years' of healthcare informatics experience required (knowledge of: cost and utilization metrics, risk adjustment application, benchmarking data, retention/leakage analytics, and the varying levels of medical/pharmacy service categories are required)
•MS Office proficiency required (Excel, Access, VBA)
•Relational database programming proficiency required (SAS/SQL strongly preferred)
•Excellent communication skills required, with a capacity for analyzing and presenting data to non-technical audiences
•Experience with Data Visualization Software preferred (Tableau, Qlikview, JMP, etc.)
•Managed Care (AQC) analytics experience preferred
