Education: Masters or Bachelor's (+3 years work experience) degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Microsoft Server operating system or similar distribution: Server 2012 Core
Working knowledge infrastructure system services (Systems Center, Windows Event Forwarding, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Certificates, Tivoli BigFix, WinRM,DHCP, DNS, Client/NFS, NTP, SSH, SYSLOG, APACHE, SSL, etc).
Experience with VMware Products (ESX 5.x, SRM) or equivalent technologies. Experience in hardware monitoring
Ability to code and script in any administrative language (i.e. PowerShell)
Maintain revision control, automated testing workflow, continuous delivery experience i.e. GIT, Jenkins. Github contributions.
Server hardware automation firmware management
Demonstrated understanding and respect of change-control process management.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills, ability to provide alternatives, root cause analysis, and ability to make thoughtful proposals.
Must have effective oral, written communications. Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills. Team player and self-motivated.

(Preferred Qualifications) Knowledge with DevOps technologies and cloud-based provisioning.
(Preferred Qualifications) Knowledge with cloud automation/orchestration technologies (Puppet, Ansible, etc)
(Preferred Qualifications) Understanding of common security protocols such as Kerberos, RSA, TACACS+, IPSec, PKI and SFTP
