Product Marketing Manager II

Oculus is seeking a contract Product Marketing Manager to help steward full-funnel marketing campaigns for the industry-leading all-in-one VR headset, Oculus Go. The successful candidate is someone passionate about evangelizing virtual reality products and experiences to early mass consumers. You will work closely with the Oculus creative team and cross-functional marketing teams to create beautiful campaigns that drive forward immersive VR Entertainment. You will help design, launch, evaluate, optimize, and scale our 360 integrated campaigns. You will utilize both online and offline media channels such as TV, OOH, print, online advertising, SEM, etc. to cost-effectively target core audiences and drive product awareness and acquisition. You will also partner with business development and content teams to drive partner co-marketing and promote VR's biggest media/entertainment content titles as part of Oculus Go's marketing strategy.

To be a successful candidate, you need to be passionate about the Entertainment/Media industry and the VR space. You must be a good listener, able to quickly learn the ins and outs of the product and synthesize what is compelling and exciting to message to the target audience. You must be a thoughtful and organized thinker and strong communicator, able to connect with target audiences and translate audience insights into relatable campaign work. A successful candidate will be able to think both analytically and creatively, working with creative teams to develop compelling and impactful integrated marketing campaigns on one hand and working with media planning team and analytics team to measure the success of the campaign on the other hand. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, able to transition smoothly between multiple cross-functional groups ranging from Product, PR, Client, to Legal. You should be comfortable and experienced working with external content partners as well as internal teams, leading cross-functional teams to drive action and execute campaigns under challenging timelines.

Responsibilities:
Lead campaigns, from strategy to execution, with agency and internal partners for our most successful product launch, Oculus Go
Work with internal cross-functional team to create go-to-market strategies that resonate with our target audience
Collaborate with creative team and agencies to produce rich campaign assets like Holiday TV spots, digital activations, event activations, etc.
Partner with Marketing Analytics to report out on the impact of marketing activities as well as learn and optimize strategies based on insights
Partner with Client team to drive external 3rd party partner co-marketing and asset approval process
Manage the Oculus Go marketing budget, keeping production and media costs within scope
Present to internal teams on marketing efforts and identify opportunities for collaboration with others

Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in media/entertainment industries with a focus on advertising and communications
Experience with both data-driven analysis and creative production, as well as media planning
Experience working with Entertainment/Media industry partners and managing co-marketing campaigns
Experience delivering results with internal and external partners including production, marketing, sales, PR
BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with media content asset management / business affairs
Experience with consumer hardware products
