Job Description:

• Team is launching a new program, they have some test cases but they need someone who can think on the behalf of the customer to establish test cases. Not just executing a large number of established test cases.
• Automation is not a high requirement, but a good to have. Being able to take requirements from the business and translate them into test cases.
• Surface up any bugs and log any issues, work with business to triage and communicate the bugs out regularly to manager and the business. Working on automation.

Services to be performed:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAT) for a contract position to test the front-end features and large scale services that enable customers to shop on Client.com.

Role Description:
The ideal candidate should have great communication skills, detail oriented, create test cases, execute tests, and report results and basic knowledge of Java and Selenium

Key Responsibilities:
- Own QA process and test quality of the products we develop.
- Perform manual testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionalities of services as a prequel to automation.
- Analyse test logs, create test reports.
- Defect logging and tracking to closure, bug fix validation, regression testing.
- Assist with running and debugging Automation tests.

Required skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 3+ years of testing experience.
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail; the ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering your quality bar

Preferred skills:
Knowledge of Java strongly preferred.
Experience designing test strategies and test tools.
Familiarity with a test automation application: Selenium, Appium etc.
Think outside the box attitude and passion for manual testing.
