Material Coordinator 2

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Movement, staging and transfer materials (finished, semi-finished and raw materials) to and from manufacturing and warehouse locations.
Performs duties supporting incoming material receipts and material shipments. Completes all associated documentation and follows required guidance and documentation related to those tasks
Perform all material stocking, assembly, data entry and clerical functions as needed
Perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory variances and assist in root cause investigations.
Perform routine location audits to ensure inventory accuracy and maintenance.
Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in Illumina's products, parts, and services.
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with all departments contacted in the course of work.
Interacts with vendors and colleagues in Manufacturing, Production Planning, Customer Service and Finance to reconcile inventory variances.
Support picking, packing and shipping of material for order fulfillment by using scanners or by manual methods.
Perform incoming receiving activities including goods receipts and performing and documenting incoming inspection results.

2-5 years related experience, preferably in a life sciences manufacturing environment with temperature sensitive products.
Familiar with GMP and ISO regulated environments
Excellent communication skills and 2-5 years of materials or logistics experience
Working computer literacy using an ERP system, spreadsheet and word processing software, inventory control and work order procedures are required (SAP preferred).
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to execute basic analysis and resolve minor problems independently.
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs to a 36-inch height.
Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous improvement experience a plus
