Manufacturing Technician - Antibody Dilutions MFG

The Manufacturing Technician will mostly perform dilutions, buffer, and reagent preparation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned.):
Daily batch records and work orders will be given with written instructions to perform dilutions, buffer, and reagent preparation.
Will perform work in accordance with production schedules and perform hands-on dilution preparation tasks.
Must possess basic mathematical skills and provide accurate data documentation.
Must be able to adapt and be flexible to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Under supervision, work in a timely and efficient manner for production.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Perform dilutions and reagent preparation via work orders or other requests.
Submit completed work orders to appropriate personnel for review at the end of each day.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lab on a daily basis.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals and buffers within the lab.
Maintain inventory of supplies in the Manufacturing lab.
• Provide assistance to adjacent groups after daily duties have been achieved.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Learn and follow all departmental SOPs, guidelines, and procedures.

High school diploma required, or general education degree, or one to three months related experience.
• Zero to two years of professional experience in a related field, preferably manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The Manufacturing Technician should possess qualities in a variety of areas:
• Good communication (written and oral) skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Can learn quickly to navigate through laboratory database systems.
• Well organized, detail oriented and multitasking.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and dedicated individual.
