Job Description: The Senior HR Business Partner is the liaison who works with leaders across the company to implement corporate policies related to Human Resources. He/she will act as a knowledgebase and point of contact for all HR needs for a specific business unit or division. Aside from ensuring HR compliance, he/she will also work to address team members' and leaders' issues. By implementing and maintaining our company HR policies, we create a positive and unified experience for our team members.
The Day-to-Day
• Works closely with leadership in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level.
• Consults with employees and leaders to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach.
• Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change).
• Assists senior leadership in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives.
• Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving.
• As a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization, he/she resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
• In-depth knowledge of HR functions, understanding of interdependencies and basic knowledge of Vantiv business.
• Respected for ability to solve client business problems through the alignment of effective HR solutions.
• Demonstrates an understanding of more than one business unit, understands matrix reporting relationships and their implications.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
• Uses knowledge of the client's culture, business, objectives and their industry to develop a comprehensive understanding of the partners' needs.
• Has a practical understanding of how to get things done given organizational realities.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication and feedback skills.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Typically requires an advanced Degree or equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience. If no advanced Degree is acquired, then 10 years of relevant experience is required.
