Job Summary
Technical Expert for key System Center and Software Distribution technologies, as part of a globally transverse technical team, working with Windows based products and providers. This role will be responsible for service management and managed services of systems that are the core components of an overall Windows Workspace Service.
As part of the global Workstation Automation Services Solutions group, works closely with peer GIS teams on the reference architecture, support and performance challenges. Collaborates closely with Global Solution Centers (“GSC”) in the strategy definition, work-flow design and services for requesting, provisioning, and delivery of Windows images and supporting Automation tools. Maintain a tight integration of the Windows Workstation platforms with the standard automation and system management toolsets in order to provide the framework for system design, maintenance, support and flexibility.
Technical Expert must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills. In addition, the individual must be flexible, dependable and have excellent time management skills and have the ability to work both individually or in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Key Individual Accountabilities
Configuration management and support of Windows based systems as defined by the Workstation Engineering Strategy. Including, but not limited to SCCM, OSD, MDT, Windows Deployment Toolkit, 1E Nomad and AppClarity, Driver Management.
Maintain a deep technical understanding of Microsoft technologies (Windows operating systems, etc.) & 1E products and the latest debugging and troubleshooting techniques
Assisting in operating and managing SCCM Current Branch environments. Working with SCCM Engineering team to help improve the current environment
Advanced troubleshooting for SCCM Current Branch, SQL, and AD delivering services to Windows 7/8.1/10 clients.
Providing advice and guidance on technical requirements and on the integration of SCCM with other products such as Active Directory (AD), Citrix or Microsoft Terminal Servers
Work on-site or remotely to diagnose and resolve both emergency and chronic problems related to availability, security, performance, connectivity and overall functionality.
Proficient in SCCM, Powershell, or C#, SQLManage workload efficiently while being able to resolve time-critical situations professionally
Initiate and maintain key educational advancements on next generation client engineering technologies and solutions to maintain Level 3 support qualification on core technologies
Work with Service Management and Service Desk as required to align core technologies with appropriate service and support methodologies
