We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled research associate to join our Oncology team. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing biochemical and cellular assays and methodologies to support drug discovery programs. In addition, he or she will perform in vitro and/or extra cellular experiments to characterize target enzymes/proteins, determine functional effects, and elucidate mechanism of interaction of small molecules which modulate drug target. Candidate is expected to keep abreast of published scientific literature and present his/her data at internal project meetings.

Be able to work independently to design experiments, interpret data, and troubleshoot.
Be able to and is willing to help maintaining various lab instruments.
Be able to seek out information, learn quickly, and successfully apply knowledge in his/her work.
Required experiences and skills:
- 3 3 years of experience in the area of molecular and cellular biology and biochemistry
- Candidate should have excellent theoretical foundation and experience in developing biochemical (e.g. fluorescence based enzymatic or binding assays) and cellular assays (e.g. proliferation, reporter assays, ELISA, western blots)
- Candidate should have strong working knowledge in standard scientific graphing and curve fitting software used for data analysis such as XLFit and GraphPad Prism.

Education:
BS or MS degree in biological science
