As an Emerging Business Operations A/R Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting our acquired entities and their AR portfolio. The Emerging Business Operations A/R Analyst serves as both the functional and operational owner of all receivables activity for our acquired entities. This entails cash collection; cash application; unapplied cash management and issuing customer refunds. In addition, this role will help with management reporting, process documentation and process improvement.

Follow up on open invoice balances with customer
Apply all forms of payments accurately and timely
Performs research internally, by contacting customers and/or our bank to determine validity of payments that are lost, unidentified or rejected by our bank
Provides regular feedback on the trends of unapplied cash and customer refunds
Accountable for periodic bank account reconciliation and reporting
Owns the process improvements in the cash application process and participates in the functional design and testing of any system enhancements
Provides regular management information to the Director, Emerging Business Operations as required
Assists in A/R related special projects including unapplied cash, small dollar credit card conversion, as well as a variety of other improvement projects

Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have strong research and problem solving abilities
Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines where adaptability is imperative
Extreme attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Motivation to learn, challenge and change
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Relevant background in Finance and Accounting
Experience with SFDC, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications
