Job Description:
  • Comply with U.S. tax law reporting requirements with respect to Controlled Foreign Corporations, Foreign Branches, and Foreign Joint Ventures.
  • Gather the data submitted for IRS tax audits.
  • Prepare the actual and forecast net cost of income earned by non-hyper inflationary branches and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare the tax returns for all international branches and subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
The candidate's specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • a) Gather and analyze the financial information and tax returns, in order to calculate earnings and profits, taxable income and foreign tax credits (including Sec. 901 and Sec. 902) for our foreign operations.
  • This information is used for the filing of accurate U.S. tax returns for all foreign entities of Client Company.
  • These returns will include Form 1120, Forms 5471, Form 1118, Form 8865, and Form 8868.
  • b) Request, receive, analyze, and document financial and tax information needed to accurately prepare periodic forecasts of the Company's net cost of foreign remittances affecting the tax provision, including the analysis of foreign tax credits, and financial and tax adjustments to comply with U.S. tax laws.
  • c) Request, receive, analyze, and document thoroughly the foreign tax receipts evidencing payment of foreign taxes by the Company, the Company's foreign branches, and subsidiaries to justify the foreign tax credit claimed by the Company
  • d) Provide accurate and complete information requested in the IRS tax audits II.
REQUIRED  
  • Solid computer skills excel, etc. and either direct knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn to use effectively, the OneSource's International Tax programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and working knowledge of U.S. tax provisions affecting international operations.
  • The international tax area changes rapidly and often present problems.
  • Resourcefulness and creativity are required in order to arrive at tax solutions which meet the requirements of the relevant tax laws and also support the business goals of the Company.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulousness with numbers are mandatory attributes for this position.
  • The position requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as interpersonal skills.
Mandatory:
  • The position requires a minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting in addition to at least 2 to 3 years of experience in international tax compliance work
