-Work with series producers to elevate production value of new and existing original franchises, achieving ambitious goals for mobile video user engagement
-Deliver on tight deadlines, taking direction and feedback while contributing as creative collaborator in fast-paced editorial environment
-Find and manage digital assets from social media, partner providers (AP, Getty, similar)
-Collaborate with producers and product engineers to create/implement After Effects templates for proprietary video production tool
-Produce and program compelling video posts for social media platforms

Must Haves:
-Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, Adobe Photoshop suite and similar editing software
-3-5 years experience editing short form digital content
-Highly creative with strong copyedit skills and experience in creative development
-Extremely savvy with social media, and mixed media; working understanding of social metrics and content-surfacing algorithms of the major social platforms
-Team player — can bring the transformative spark for a creative editor while still working closely and openly with others to accomplish shared goals
-Passion for news and pop culture with an understanding of editorial best practices
