Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension)

Requirements:-
- Ideal Candidate Experience:
- One to two years working in the oil & gas pipeline industries
- Basic knowledge of design software such as: AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation InRoads, BlueSky, and - - Excel to develop the design deliverables.
- Familiar with pipeline design aspects for construction methods of open-cut trench, auger bore, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) is a plus.
- Previous experience with GIS software and/or AVEVA is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of federal codes DOT 192 and 195, as well as best industry practice of ASME B31.4 and B31.8 is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of material standards such as ANSI & ASTM is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Entry-level position, Associate's Degree (with two years of professional drafting experience) in computer aided drafting; or equivalent Bachelor's Degree in computer aided drafting,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others (Project Managers, Engineers and Designers) in a multi-discipline project team environment to support resolve of design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives.
- Self-driven with ability to work independently and efficiently on assigned tasks for allotted durations of time.
- Previous internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic commands of at least one type of CAD system (ability to occasionally use higher-level commands, timesaving programs and routines).

Description:-
- Pipeline CAD Technician will assist with design development of new pipeline drawings, revising existing drawings, and preparing drawings of packages.
  • Drafting workload to executed from explicit verbal, written instructions, and/or detailed sketches.
  • This position successfully creates CAD documents; learns and follows company and client drafting standards, procedures and bill of materials specifications under supervision of project engineer; learns the practices of oil & gas pipeline industry.
