Location: Ridgefield, Connecticut
Plan and perform experiments with (minimal) supervision to provide investigative support for non-clinical safety assessments and for exploratory studies.
Develop and optimize Client cellular and biochemical assays for monitoring biological/toxicological events during in vitro and in vivo non-clinical safety studies.
Work in a highly collaborative manner as part of a multidisciplinary team in a matrix-team environment.
Keep abreast of relevant literature; propose new technologies/experiments based on current information.
Write protocols, methods and technical reports; provide scientific interpretation of results with minimal guidance.

Scientist I/II Requirements:
Must have good understanding of basic scientific principles and research practices in the field of cell & molecular biology.
Experience with collection, handling and preparation of biological samples from animals (e.g., cells, tissues, plasma, serum, etc.).
Familiarity with immunoassay technologies (e.g. flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD platform, immunohistochemistry, cytokine assays and western blotting.)
Experience with nucleic acid isolation and gene expression analyses a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; highly organized and efficient record keeping.
Strong ability to multi-task and willingness to work effectively in highly collaborative and diverse environment.
