Job Description:
As a team member of the Operations Application Manager team, this role is focused on technical project management within the Operations team.
The role is intended to drive efficiency and coherence for the critical Operations projects being run by the team.
This is a key role in the Operations Application Management team, which will not only work with various Operations teams, but also will work with Engineering and Product
Management team to ensure the success of our projects.
This position will report directly to the HCM Operations Business Owner, Director of Client SuccessFactors Cloud Delivery.

Responsibilities of this Technical Project Manager without people managing role may include, but are not limited to:
Work with the Operations Application Management team to get an understanding of current projects.
Get solid grasp of the critical projects and develop roadmaps with multiple associated teams.
Oversee the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of assigned projects.
Help define each project's scope, goals and deliverables.
Assist in the analysis, design and development of a road-map and implementation based upon a current vs. future state.
Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level.
Conduct and lead technical design session, such as technical design reviews.
Communicate team responsibilities, target dates, project status and resource needs.
Collaborate with team leads to assemble and manage the project team.
Provide direction and support to team members.
Keep track of the projects, schedule recurring meetings with the associated teams/key players.
Follow up on issue resolution and proactive communication management team on any road blocker to continuously push project forward with high quality.
Manage communications with the team, as well as stakeholders and management.
Establish and provide weekly status, dashboards and project updates.

Bachelor in Computer Science, Operations Research, or equivalent, with a concentration or specialization in project management (or equivalent actual experience); Master's Degree is a plus.

Experience required:
5+ years' experience with the software project management.
Understanding of Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, JSPs, Servlets and XML.
Must have a good understanding of the Unix/LINUX operating system.
Understands database (Oracle database preferred), SQL, PL/SQL.
Understands front-end technologies including HTML, DHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Working experience on projects, dealing with large complex implementations.
Knowledge of major J2EE servlet container or application servers: Tomcat, Jboss, Weblogic, etc.
Understanding of Cloud technologies and components.
Agile Project Management and Scrum experience.
Provide direction and support to team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks under time constraints.
Communicate team responsibilities, target dates, project status and resource needs.
Establish and provide weekly status, dashboards and project updates.
Fully proficient with Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and project management tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Leadership skills; enjoys inter-personal relationships.
Energetic and a multitasker.
Able to switch context rapidly.
Forward thinker: you foresee obstacles in the distance and can proactively correct to avoid them.
