What is the project(s) name? This will be supporting multiple smaller projects within the Marketing team
What are the key objectives for this resource (project summary)? Client's Business Technology Solution (BTS) Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Marketing Technology Technical Lead. If you are experienced with Marketing Technology and are excited to help the business best use its existing marketing technology and to plan for the technological future, connect with a wide range of stakeholders (from analysts to executives), and get into the "tech weeds” (think architecture and data models), this role might be a fantastic fit.
The Marketing Technology Technical lead requires a blend of high interpersonal skills, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and clients at the same time. You will hone your operations skills to help CLIENT deliver the best content, to the relevant parties, at the right time.
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and optimize the technologies serving the marketing team. You will help the business analyze, select, and implement software to help further the objectives of the marketing department and CLIENT.
How long is this project (please be specific)? 6+ months (opportunity for extension)
What phase is the project currently in? Since this is handling a couple smaller projects (system enhancements) this resource will come in in different phases

Design architecture diagrams and solutions experience
Experience leading BSA's
Budget experience (estimates, working on budgeting for hours throughout the project)
Experience doing sanity tests/sanity checks

Master's Degree
Project management background
Automotive or finance background
Certifications are nice to have, but not required

Technical Expertise
o 7+ years of experience in business applications design and development; implementation of online systems where volume performance and uptime reliability are critical requirements is essential
o BS in Computer Science or BS in Business or equivalent job experience
o Direct experience in the creation of system architecture and data models
o Cloud experience is a plus
Marketing Expertise
Understanding of data-driven marketing technology architecture from the data to campaign management, cross-channel execution platforms, data reporting and analysis, as well as APIs, web services and functionality that drives personalized, trigger-based marketing
Strong digital asset management experience (content management, metadata, etc.) with image, audio and video formats
o Experience with enterprise CRM/Database/Marketing Technology platforms
Multi-channel marketing experience and/or eCommerce
Direct campaign experience (successfully developed, launched, and measured KPIs of a campaign)
o Awareness of the landscape (and pros/cons) of the major marketing technologies
Communication and Project Management Skills
o Demonstrated ability to provide value across multiple projects or project activities to meet goals
o Demonstrated capability in technical leadership and success with both large and small projects
o Track record in managing technical staff through various life cycle phases
o Strong leadership, development management and communication skills
