JOB TITLE: Electronics Embedded Hardware Engineer

Technical Skills:

Digital FPGA/ASIC/IC Hardware Design Engineer.
Heavy Experience in FPGA/SOC design/simulation/lab.
Hardware verification, PCB board design/bringup.

High Speed Digital Design,
HDL Design (Verilog/VHDL)

Design Tools, Software: Verilog (Modelsim), VHDL (Modelsim), Simplify(Synplicity), Leonardo, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics Tools , PSPICE/HSPICE, C/C++, TCL (to control hdl/synthesis/p&r tools),
Xilinx Client, Altera Quartus, Makefiles, HDL Designer.
Hardware: FPGA (Altera: up to Stratix2, Xilinx up to Virtex5, CycloneV), PLL, DDR Memory Controller

Processors: Direct experience designing with Client/Freescale PQII, ARM A9/A53
Protocols: Ethernet, G.709, PCI, PRP, HSR, TSN
Debugging Tools: Logic Analyzers, Scopes, Processor Emulators (Vision ICE/probe), solid board debugging and bring-up skills.
Operating Systems: Lunix Windows Vxworks

The Hardware Engineer III position is primarily responsible for material selection and design for use. Additionally, the position requires leveraging commonality and supply chain resources to ensure robust material supply in production.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Designing new products and supporting Installed Base of Analog and or Digital (may include some FPGAs) electrical boards, circuits, components and interconnects
Designing activities involving A D, D A translation
Engaging in all phases of new product introduction concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives
Ensure reliability, performance and delivery through supplier relationships.

1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
2. 7 years relative work experience
