Services to be performed:
From September to December Client will be hiring thousands of seasonal fulfillment associates to staff for the holiday season. Do you want to be a part of our team that hires and onboard each one of them? Client is hiring seasonal staffing coordinators to help facilitate the hiring and onboarding processes in our fulfillment centers. You will be responsible for many tasks including interacting with potential employees and helping them get through the hiring process. The Seasonal Staffing Coordinator will play an integral part in support of our employment efforts.

Key responsibilities include:
Assisting the recruiting team with the coordination and scheduling of hiring events
Participate in the hiring event include online application support, I9 documentation, badge photos, and other tasks as assigned.
Facilitate job fairs for all potential employees. A strong desire to present information to a group of people is important.
Administrative tasks will include pulling reports out of the Applicant Tracking System, tracking results of recruiting events, and spending time in Excel.
Onboarding support will include greeting new employees at the beginning of their first shift of work. This will be covered on both day and evening shift start times.

Required Skills:

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work in an environment with competing demands
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Data Entry skills are required
Ability to travel to offsite locations in order to conduct hiring events.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends and OT as needed.
Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate
Candidate will have a solid sense of accountability and acute personal judgment

Preferred Skills:
1-2 years of experience in a high-volume administrative support role or equivalent, a plus.
Prior working experience in the field of HR and/or Recruiting
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required
Recruiting assistant experience preferred, professional services experience desirable.
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish), preferred

Additional Notes:
Hours: can be as early as 7:00 am and the day can end as late as 8:00 pm. The work day hours can range from 8 hours to 12 hours per day. (This is the max, not necessarily the norm).

Candidate must be willing to drive to various events sites in Livonia or Warren, MI. Their milege must be reimbursable by the agency (if that is their policy)

The candidate must enjoy working with people.
The candidate must be a quick learner and processes and learning computer systems quickly.
The candidate must be willing to speak in front of groups – they will conduct a welcome presentation and facilitate the oral drug test process.
The candidate must be willing and able to stand on their feet for long days. (you will be able to sit – however, if presenting – they will be standing).
