This role within Medical Affairs will support the design, implementation and evaluation of cross therapeutic medical education strategies that should result in independently developed grant-funded educational activities that provide compelling, well balanced, compliant, evidence-based information and data to improve patient care, close healthcare gaps, and support cross-therapeutic organizational goals.

The National Education Manager will work cross-functionally within a matrix organization to support all medical education strategies including Request for Proposal (RFP) development, tactics, program monitoring, and outcomes analysis. He or she will also ensure all activities are compliant with internal and external guidelines, policies and procedures.

The National Education Manager will also support the Advisory Board process as needed.

-Possess an ability to assess clinical data, identify independent healthcare gaps/educational needs and priorities that align with disease states and strategic interests of the company to develop strategic, high quality and innovative education plans and subsequent RFP development as needed (including RFP research, writing and approval).
-Support Medical Units/Therapeutic areas as a CME/IME subject matter expert in the grant review process including development of educational strategies, RFP development, grant review, activity monitoring and reconciliation.
-Participate in the use of Vision Tracker and other electronic repositories (e.g. Transparency) to ensure all information is stored electronically in a compliant, consistent manner.
-Participate in the review and evaluation of educational grant applications (including critical evaluation of educational providers and budgets) for compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies and alignment with education strategies.
-Support the maintenance of IME/CME cross therapeutic competitive intelligence and program monitoring and evaluation.
-Collect and analyze educational outcomes from funded activities; Monitor appropriate overall metrics and effectiveness measures and communicate results to internal stakeholders.
-Maintain an accurate and current database on the status of all projects as assigned, ensure completion of IME Calendar of Events and prepare educational outcomes presentations as needed.
-Participate with cross-functional teams (including medical, commercial, joint ventures and global) and ensure working teams meet frequently to evaluate educational programs and provide feedback.
-Ensure timely and accurate completion of Educational Grant Reconciliations.
-Support external CME/IME Industry presence as needed.
-Assist with IME/CME training of Medical Affairs associates.
Support the DCV portfolio Advisory Board process (i.e. rationale, agenda, logistics, contracts, vendor management, etc.) as needed.
