Job Description:
Purpose of the Position:

The Marketing Automation specialist is part of the Corning Optical Communication's global marketing team and is responsible for executing strategic email and digital campaigns within Marketo, a marketing automation software. This includes the creation and activation of campaign templates, lead nurturing programs and list uploads. This position will also assist the digital marketing team as a resource/reference for electronic customer engagement.

Reports directly to Manager, Demand Generation and Lead Development

Key Responsibilities:
Create and administer lead management campaigns:
•Become Corning expert on marketing automation campaigns, and using in-region resources (website, Lead Development and Sales Development, Field Sales, webinars, etc.) to further engage, capture, and develop leads
•Partner with marketing managers, specialists, and project managers to execute their lead development strategies using programs, campaigns, and lead forms
•Coordinate integration and execution of electronic marketing activities with marketing/project managers for events, training, mail campaigns, programs, promotions or other marketing initiatives
•Create associated web pages, forms, banners, newsletters, etc. to support initiatives
•Collaborate across marketing organization for template creation, content generation, initiative analytics, etc. to ensure messaging, promotion, and external communication are consistent and all stakeholders understand performance/analytics associated with programs
•Upload lead lists generated from various regional marketing initiatives and advise marketing/project managers on best practices for campaigns
•Conduct A/B testing of campaign parameters, measure results, and adjust tactics to maximize results, as appropriate for the complexity of the campaign
•Audit all campaigns for accuracy, consistency, brand standards and best practice guidelines

Required Skills:
•Experience in Marketo software is required
•High acumen with all Microsoft Office programs
•Financial analysis skills, including ability to build/interpret reports and collect metrics

Desired Skills:
•Knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse,, and SharePoint a plus
•Knowledge of Corning products, customers, applications, markets

Soft Skills:
•Ability to work well in a team environment that involves multiple points of contact, global coordination, and obtaining information from multiple sources
•Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with higher-level executives
•Ability to influence others without specific authority
•Proven time-management skills and ability to hit deadlines under pressure

Manager Must Have:
•Experience in Marketo software is required, candidates without Marketo experience will not be considered on this posting.
