Job Title: Business Planning and Operations Analyst IV
Duration: 0-6 month(s)
We're looking for someone with a proven track record of driving complex CRM/ Marketing Automation projects with multiple inputs to successful completion. Candidate should be able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
What you'll be doing:
Demonstrated project management experience - documenting requirements, planning, execution, issue/risk management and help resource management/allocation.
Document requirements and gain consensus across internal and external stakeholder teams.
Manage and document data collection from a multitude of sources, data review and quality checks of incoming data to ensure high quality data is used in marketing systems. Common tasks involve documenting data mapping, identification and application of business rules to data sets and resolving varying data granularities.
Experience documenting technical solutions for complex problems and delivering them to technical and non-technical audiences.
Develop and document standardized onboarding process for existing and new Oath products to Marketing automation tools like Epsilon Harmony, Oracle Responses, Salesforce Marketing Cloud etc.
Work with marketing technology managers to identify and document areas to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing tool and data sources.
Work with operations team to manage all day-to-day aspects of Oath’s marketing programs including list selection, creative, reporting, optimization and vendor management in order to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
Manages documentation of program data flow, reporting and analysis, which include response tracking, campaign reporting, transfer of data between vendors and Yahoo, and ad hoc issue investigation.
Proactively identifies operational gaps, issues and challenges – and work to propose remedies.
Create agile stories for development of new features and maintain plan for ongoing product improvements.
Communicate technical requirements to development teams. Work with internal developers to answer questions and resolve ambiguities.
Improve data quality results by determining system improvements; identifying trends; evaluating, and re-designing work processes; implementing changes.
Build strategic partnership with CRM, user journey, Media, Campaign, product teams as well as with vendors to optimize processes and data flows.
Develop and document testing strategies and execution plans to optimize and improve performance of customer marketing programs (cadence, format, multivariate, A/B, model, etc.)
Skills, Talents, Experience you have:
5+ years of work experience (with mix of programming , program / project management).
Experience implementation of Marketing Automation/ CRM tools like Epsilon Harmony, Oracle Responses, Salesforce Marketing Cloud , Marketo etc.
Bachelor Degree preferably in computer science, statistics, mathematics, marketing, or economics ; Masters Degree is preferred.
Experience working with engineering and creative staff in a fast-paced environment
Experience with project management and Agile tools like JIRA, Asana or MS Project
Experience with offshore and multi-location coordination is a big plus
Proficiency with software tools such as SQL, Perl, Unix, Python, Excel, Access to gather and assess data is a plus
Excellent diagnostic skills to analyze and identify discrepancies within data sets and identify solutions
Hadoop experience is a plus
Ideal if you have specific experience in the ad-tech industry, a marketing agency, consulting.
Resilient work ethic with the capability to adapt to the situation, flexibility and nimbleness in terms of work planning, and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
Client-facing or consulting experience is a plus as you will need to confidently communicate and partner with yahoo internal clients.
