Deliver quality research projects and other activities in support of assigned programs/products. The incumbent interfaces with Clinical, Medical Affairs, Medical Communications and business partners including Marketing, Sales and Market Access. The incumbent is accountable for the planning, design, implementation and completion of innovative evidence based research programs that are consistent with the program/product strategies. The programs developed will provide appropriate real world evidence and/or tools to be used to for internal decision making and for external audiences at product launch and over the product life cycle and provide high quality scientific evidence to demonstrate the value of our products. This role also interfaces with global colleagues to ensure alignment and consistency with global brand drivers.

Major Activities/Key Responsibilities

Collaborates with internal and external customers to design and execute research projects to fill HEOR evidence gaps in the therapeutic area
Takes a leadership role in the development of relationships and continued advocacy with external customers and advisors
Interacts with senior level management providing high level strategies and long term vision of assigned work
Strategically provides new ideas and concepts on how to move the brand and/or therapeutic franchise forward, influences how decisions are taken within HEOR
Provides guidance on the implementation of evidence generation tactics consistent with the Medical Brand Plan including designs, budgets, contracting, tracking, reporting, and publication plans
Contributes to the evaluation, selection and use of appropriate models and methodology to achieve results
Provides input to clinical and medical teams regarding opportunities to execute HEVA strategies within planned clinical trials or observational studies, identifying the appropriate evidence research data to collect and report results
Serves as a resource to commercial organization in terms of pricing, positioning and reimbursement of products based on economic evaluations
All incumbents are expected to demonstrate effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. The incumbent is expected to work independently, but in concert with the direction provided by their management, in accordance with defined functional policies and precedents, budgetary guidelines, company values, ethics and applicable law.
