The Patent Administrative Associate will provide a variety of general administrative support throughout the legal patent department.

Duties include saving emails to First to File, managing deadlines, typing, preparation, and proofing of general corporate agreements, general correspondence, and various forms and contracts. This position will also provide a high level of professional assistance in answering phones, preparing presentation materials, scheduling meetings, catering, maintaining calendars and making travel arrangements.

This position is an admin "floater " for the patent legal department and patent experience is required.

SKILLS:
The candidate must be: creative, proactive, self-motivated, flexible, team-oriented able to manage conflicting and changing priorities and perform in a collaborative team environment with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills are required as well as the ability to establish strong working relationships with other administrative assistants. Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience and familiarity with Google Suite (gCal, Gmail, gDoc, etc.)

3+ years' experience in a position requiring patent experience, superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills desired.

EDUCATION:
High School diploma is mandatory. An Associate Degree is required.
