The Platform OS Test Analyst will be responsible for the functional and performance testing aspects of the standard client OS platform solutions. The individual will be responsible for conducting functionality, integration, performance, and regression testing of the standard desktop platforms and associated provisioning solution. The primary focus of this position will be
Work with cross-functional teams on consolidation of requirements
Gathering, drafting and finalization of quality documentation related to approved requirements, defined specifications, workflow diagrams and roadmaps associated to the standard client platform standard
Developing, implementing and maintaining test plans and manual/automated test cases for existing and new functionality introduced though change management to ensure requirements are being met
Performing, all aspects of testing, including functional, unit, regression, exploratory integration and system testing on applicable OS client platform and specified hardware (cursory multi-lingual UI testing)
Documenting, troubleshooting and isolate issues encountered during testing and follow the issue through all phases of the testing life cycle (i.e. monitoring and tracking of issues to ensure timely resolution).
Participating in the bug review process with development and engineering teams
Collaborating, as needed, in design and specification reviews, documenting and reporting on encountered anomalies
The Test Analyst will follow a defined change and release processes to ensure that manual testing with complement the additional formal testing efforts based out of the Mumbai, IN office and completes the overall testing methodology to meet expectations and are developed and executed in an acceptable manner.

Strong understanding and experience with testing methodology and best practices.
Strong understanding of the technical operations of Windows client platforms (Windows 7, 8.1 & 10), including IE/Bitlocker and Office suites (Office 2010 & 2013+) and respective multiple user interface language packs
Prior experience with Client Quality Center and Application Lifecycle Management a plus
Expert skills in writing and executing scenarios for manual testing
Minimum 5 years of system testing experience
Excellent technical writing, oral communications, presentation, collaboration and customer service skills
Strong analytical skills and experience with system test reporting and metrics
Prior responsibilities with authoring and maintaining technical documentation required.
Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.
