Able to create and modify procedures to solve complex issues. Seen as a subject matter expert within functional area. Participates in negotiation and collaboration. Utilizes creative thinking and innovative approaches involving multiple technologies. Supports initiatives that focus on meeting and growing business needs. Monitors service performance to SLAs and ensures organizational and leadership visibility of SLA performance and problem areas. Manages support exceptions/escalations and where appropriate, creates new or refines existing business processes. Possesses knowledge to plan and manage service deliveries for standard and customized IT solutions and processes to satisfy customer and business requirements.


Additional Job Details:
The Planning Analyst plays a key role in the success of delivering multiple projects for CLIENT's through demand planning and analysis. Resource forecasting via web-based time tracking/ project planning system: Clarity. May initiate purchase orders based on forecast. Forecast to actual variance explanations. Participate in executive forecast summary preparation. High level of communication with Technical Managers and Scrum Masters for assigned domains. Ensure that PMs are aware of budget and financial trends. Ensure that teams understand any staffing issues (time cards, approvals, resources, etc?). Understand high level risks and issues that may drive additional project cost, resource or date impact. Resource Management Administration: Ongoing communication with centralized resource management. Leveling resource allocation across projects and operating plans.

Requirements:
Project accounting experience. Previous experience in IT development. Previous experience with Agile software delivery methodology. Understanding of Capital v Expense charges. Must be detail oriented and meticulous. Must be a self -motivated individual as well as a team player. Must be proactive in leveraging available resources. Willing to learn and adapt Skills: Proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables and data analysis. Experience with web-based accounting tools. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. 5-10 years of experience required.

****Knowledge of Project management cycles and Agile methodology to understand the cadence of projects and Project planning tools such as Clarity a +++. must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Seek person with initiative who is solutions driven.

SKILL SET
PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to take tech-speak and translate for non-technical audience. Familiar with Agile environment and working within Service Level Management environment. Must be able to demonstrate strong writing ability.
