Must Haves:

2. Lean practices and tools experience, be able to teach them
3. Value Stream Mapping

The Continuous Improvement/Lean (CI/Lean) Analyst will serve as a CI/Lean change agent in Technology organzation (ST) by creating, updating and conducting CI/Lean related training for ST partners (employees) and working on Continuous Improvement (CI) engagements using CI/Lean practices and tools and [Kaizen] facilitation techniques while engaging with partners at all levels.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and/or update training materials, conduct training, and coach and mentor ST partners in CI/Lean principles, processes, tools and mindset.
Work with Office of the CTO leadership to conduct assessments of business opportunities and needs.
Lead Kaizen events, continuous improvement projects and other activities.
Establish metrics and provide regular reports of data and actions to measure progress against objectives and remove barriers to deployment of CI/Lean.
Use of Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, PDCA, A3, and other CI/Lean and Agile processes and tools.
Education/Qualification Requirements:

Must have a Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of CI/Lean/Agile experience within an IT organization
Minimum of 5 years working with a multitude of CI/Lean practices and tools
Must have completed 2 or more Value Stream Mapping engagements
Minimum of 3 years as a project manager and/or scrum master or equivalent project leadership experience
Must possess exceptional verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Excel, SharePoint

This person is responsible for rolling out some Lean training to Technology team, this person will augment and pull together the materials and end up delivering it. Some materials are already created, so refining and going through and delivering it. The HR team will be working closely with this person. After this project is done, the hiring manager has more work for this individual.

There is possibility for extension if the candidate is the right fit.
