Performing end user desktop support services via vFire ticketing system. Candidate must have working knowledge supporting Windows 7 and 10 Operating Systems. Diagnosing Client and Dell hardware failure with repair / resolution. Experience operating and supporting Windows, Android and iOS smart phones. Knowledge of VPN remote access (Cisco AnyConnect). Perform desktop / laptop refreshes (replacement) and PC decommission procedures. Knowledge of Microsoft Service Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) function and support. Basic knowledge supporting and configuring network printer environments. Installation of sector layer 1 software applications. Experience with successfully troubleshooting a variety of hardware, software and network issues. Must be able to lift and carry desktop computers and peripherals. Minor travel between sites in the Baltimore area may be needed, but should be minimum. Desire a candidate w/in a 30 mile range of job site w/ reliable transportation. Desire 5+ years of experience as a Desktop Support technician w/ good continuity and performance in prior job history.
CompTIA A+ Certified and Client Professional, Dell Certified. Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. College or technical school degree preferred.
