Position of Public Trust Clearance
Northrop Grumman Technology Services Sector is seeking a PL/SQL Developer/Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in St. Louis MO. This is an on-site position with no telecommute possibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Candidates will perform multiple enhancements and upgrades to the current US Government Client programs. This may include:
? Analyze and categorize complex business and technical problems
? Perform dually as an analyst and as a developer.
? Be involved in the planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
? Document the testing and maintenance of system corrections.
? Provide functional expertise during development and testing of new enhancements or maintenance items.
? Assume leadership roles when required
? A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline.
? At least 6 years of overall IT related work experience.
? Minimum of 2 to 5 years analysis, design, development, testing and documentation experience.
? Ability to work without micromanagement.
? Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
? Experience writing procedures and packages in PL/SQL
? Experience developing business applications using PL/SQL, Oracle, HTML and UNIX.
? Experience with triggers, views, functions, sequences, etc.
? Required to possess strong interpersonal skills.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills required (ability to translate technical concepts to business or end users).
? Ability to solve coding issues in a methodical and structural manner.
? Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
? Software Development Lifecycle experience (Waterfall or Agile).
? Must be a Self-Starter
? Must be able to obtain a Postal Sensitive Clearance - US citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card). Cannot have been out of the US for more then 6 months total, in the last 5 years.
? Strong understanding of Agile principles and application.
? Experience developing and interpreting requirements.
? Experience designing and testing business applications.
? Experience producing timely results to meet or exceed expectations.
