Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)/Digital Certificate Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Eagan, MN.
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's IT Support Team that administers the Certification Authorities (CA) and Hardware Security Modules (HSM) of an industry Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Management team. As a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)/Digital Certificate Administrator, you will play an integral role in administering the large scale enterprise and commercial/publicly trusted PKI services for one of the largest networks in the U.S.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Administration of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 Active Directory Services including CA, HSM, Certificate Enrollment Web Services, Certificate Enrollment Policy Web Service, and Internet Information Services (IIS).
Administration of the Online Responder service.
Support project-focused service expansion.
Serve as the final level escalation point for support issues.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
3 years of Information Technology work experience including 1 year of hands-on PKI experience
Bachelors Degree in information technology discipline or an additional 4 years of IT experience can substitute for the degree.
Understanding of Cryptography and Key Management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extremely detail oriented
Annual travel to backup site
PKI experience including hands on experience with:
Certificate Authority Administration
Certificate Enrollment Web Service & Policy Web Service
Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) monitoring
Windows Server 2003/2008/R2/2012 and Windows 7/XP
Cryptography Next Generation (CNG)
Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation (US Citizen or Permanent Resident/green card holder)
Must not have traveled outside of the US for a combined period of 6 months or longer within the last 5 years
Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years
Position is located in Eagan, MN and does not offer relocation assistance
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
One of the following Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, Certified Ethical Hacker(CEH), Certified Penetration Testing Engineer (CPTE)
Supporting certificates in 802.1x environments
Understanding of Common Criteria Role Separation
Experience troubleshooting digital certificate issues
Familiarity with browser and application keystores
Certificate Management System (CMS)
Key Management System (KMS)
Understanding of PKIX, PKCS, SSL, TLS, S/MIME standards
Understanding of smart card technologies
Experience with UNIX or Linux
Help Desk experience
Relevant Microsoft certifications
Capacity Planning and Optimization
