Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Tester to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals This position is supporting the US Government Client ETS contract in Washington, DC at L'Enfant Plaza. The candidate must be able to obtain a US Government Client Sensitive clearance prior to start.
Shall perform as Tester for Information System Requirements and Acceptance Testing for Retail and Mailer systems,
International, Operations, and Internet, Intranet, and Call Center functions that either interface or are integrated into the
US Government Client Product Tracking System.
Shall conduct acceptance tests on US Government Client premises, using Mobile Data Collection Device (MDCD) / Intelligent Mail
Device (IMD) scanners, Optical Scanner Workstations (OSW), Mailer Electronic Files, Mailer Extract files, Intranet
tracking screens, Internet tracking screens, Product Tracking System Web Applications, Account Management Delivery
Confirmation (AMDC) system, Electronic Marketing Reporting System (EMRS), Expedited Service Specialist (ESS) Web
application, Web Executive Information System (EIS), PTS reports, the Call Center Agent screens or Integrated Voice
Response (IVR) system, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), POS ONE, and APCs, as appropriate. Shall produce
detailed documentation regarding test results according to standards provided by US Government Client.
Shall perform the following:
Responsible for synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that
acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing
Coordinates integrated testing activities.
Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program.
Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and
Conducts software inspection, testing, verification and validation.
Implements software development and maintenance processes and methods.
Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project,
process and contract requirements and objectives.
Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract.
Reviews software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.
Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
Qualifications - External
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience with requirements analyzing and developing software requirements; software
testing a nd experience in quality assurance in a software development environment or Master's degree with 6 years
* Must be able to obtain a US Government Client Sensitive security clearance.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (strong emphasis on Excel);
Demonstrated written and verbal skills;
Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications: Prior US Government Client experience & Clearance.
