Role: Business Architect (Level 3)
Duration: October 2016-March 2017
Clearance: Enhanced or higher

TRM Technologies Inc is currently looking for a Business Architect- Level 3 for one of their public sector clients.

Requirements:

1. The proposed resource has enhanced clearance level or higher

2. The proposed resource must have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the last 10 years using facilitation methods to elicit business requirements from stakeholders and to document the identified business requirements in the form of stories to support an Agile development approach.

3. The proposed resource must have a minimum of 5 years experience within the last 10 years working as a Business Architect or equivalent conducting a minimum 3 out of 5 of the following tasks:
- Developing an approach and methodology for the development and maintenance of a business architecture based on strategic direction, operational requirements and objectives and expected outcomes.
-Documenting the business architecture using methods, models, tools and techniques that are based on principles, industry standards, and best practices.
-Analyzing the business structure and service delivery framework and making recommendations to implement value-added changes to strategic, core, and support busines functions and processes.
- Designing, documenting, applying and maintaining key enterprise business architecture views including business capability, organization, process and work flow views.
-Developing key performance indicators and methods to measure the value of business architecture to the enterprise.

4. The proposed resource must have experience:
- Applying architectural principles, standards, methods, and tools to business design, integration and application
-Conceptualize and create models that can be used to document and communicate architectural concepts, constructs and content, and enable analysis to extend and mature the business architecture.

Additional Requirements:

1. The proposed resource should descrive up to three projects, completed within the last 5 years, where the resource conducted the following tasks and activities:
- Developing an approach and methodology for the development and maintenance of a business architecture based on strategic direction, operational requirements and objectives and expected outcomes.
-Documenting the business architecture using methods, models, tools and techniques that are based on principles, industry standards and best practices.
-Analyze the busines structure and service delivery framework and making recommendations to implement value- added changes to strategic, core, and support busines functions and processes
-Designing, documenting, applying and maintaining key enterprise business architecture views including business capability, organization, function and work flow views
-Developing key performance indicators and methods to measure the value of business architecture to the enteprise

2. The proposed resource should have up to 3 projects completed within the last 5 years, where the resource developed appropriate models, tools and documentation to enable analysis and integration of the business architecture with other Enterprise Architecture domain architectures (ie: information, application, security and solution architectures)

3. The proposed resource should have experience using:
-BTEP methodology
-The Government Services Reference Model (GSRM)

4. The proposed resource should have experience using enterprise architecture or business process modeling tool (eg: ABACUS, Qualiware, System Architect, Enterprise Architect,) to model and document business architecture artifacts.

5. The proposed resource should have experience using BPMN notation standard.

6. The proposed resource should have experience training/ mentoring others on the concepts and benefits of business architecture.

7. The proposed resource should have experience facilitating workshops and working sessions with senior level client representatives to assist in the elicitation of business requirements from stakeholders.
