Description/Comment: JOB DESCRIPTION 
This position will join the team responsible to architect, design, delivery and operations of data network services within the Walt Disney Studios Technology team. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and collaboration skills in working with various systems and development teams within the Studio Technology organization and with their peers to deliver and maintain the network infrastructure. They will need to develop clear documentation and procedures, design and implement new technologies, revamp legacy infrastructures, and sustain mission-critical network operations. This position provides the opportunity to work on multivendor networks, next-generation computing and networking platforms, and industry-defining media transport and collaboration technologies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Day-to-day operational support of network infrastructure and services 
• Support multiple teams dedicated to building and operating core infrastructure 
• Responsible for planning, execution and success of technical projects 
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies 
• Develop technology standards and network deployment templates 
• Provide support/mentorship to Junior Engineers
referred Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
• Actionable knowledge of developing and automating with PHP, Terraform, NaPalm, Python, Ansible and Perl, API's 
• Experience with cloud networking infrastructure technologies, including MPLS over GRE, VXLAN, SDN, NFV, SD-WAN, OpenFlow and working with API-driven infrastructure 
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack and Docker 
• Working knowledge of supporting and managing Linux systems 
• Networked storage technologies, including SMB/CIFS, NFS, GPFS, and object store 
• High-performance I/O technologies, including fiber channel and Infiniband 
• Experience with Agile and Scrum principles and practices 
• Knowledge of the film making process, from pre-production through distribution
Required Education BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Education BS in Computer Science or Engineering
Additional Information Really looking for a forward thinker, not someone who is handling the day to day. This person will be responsible for exploring technologies and bringing additional solutions to the table and researching/focusing on how we optimize our deployments with automation. Really would like someone who is up to an Architect level but they would not be doing architecture perse. In addition, need to be familiar with Infoblox, Aruba Cisco wireless is critical and experience with cloud technologies AWS/Azure-and automation tools. Look for people that have experience with Ansible and Python as well as Terreform. Open to hiring via blue jeans if they are willing to relocate.
