Lead Designer

This role will support the Global Cards and Consumer Services Chief of Staff team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in financial services and a deep understanding of data visualization and infographics. Key responsibilities will include: simplifying and translating analytical messages into visual forms in PowerPoint, producing highly polished C-level presentations, producing brochures and other ad hoc projects as necessary. An understanding of enterprise level corporate branding is preferred.

Sample portfolio is required for interview.

- Work closely with the team to simplify and transfer data into compelling visual formats
- Build and enhance PowerPoint slides with messages for C-Level communication (e.g. Business reviews, investment decks, Board of Director presentations)
- Develop and format internal employee communications (e.g. town hall presentations, onboarding materials, Sr. leadership emergency cards, etc.)
- Produce brochures, large-format print collateral and invitations
- Other ad hoc projects as requested by the CEO and/or the Chief of Staff

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; MFA preferred
- 3+ years of working with financial services clients
- Deep knowledge/experience in infographics and data visualization
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledgeable in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, video codecs and compressions
- Versatile in PowerPoint – Enterprise level Themes, Master, Animation, Transitions (Windows environment – Keynote not applicable)
- Agile team player and problem solver
- Experience interacting with financial services executives
- Pragmatic problem-solver and forward thinker who has the ability to appreciate other points of view
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at one time
- Advanced PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with other technology such as SharePoint
