Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Senior Project Manager with experience in Information Technology Infrastructure projects related to Service Now implementation.
Candidate must be able to create project plan; coordinate work and completion of activities with various IT engineering and field service groups.
Candidate must be able to identify, document and track requirements, issues, risks, budget, etc. and maintain project archives such as budget, meeting minutes etc.
Need ability to adapt quickly to change.
Need to be able to communicate effectively to various management levels. Knowledge of Microsoft Project a must.
This position is based out of Willis Tower. Working remotely is not an option.
