Front end developer
We have a hard deadline to build and launch our product as a microapp on Sep 18th. We do not have headacount to hire additional FTEs to meet this deadline and would like to supplement our team with 2-3 frontend TVCs for 2-3 months to meet project deadlines. We're lacking front end engineers on our team who can make our seeker microapp conform to our UI specs. This is going to be critical for our success as we launch our product in September. The front end TVC eng would be responsible for building out the UI for our microapp conforming to our UI designs and enhancing it with certain additional functionality. The duration is 2-3 months
Job Description Project Overview:
Our department is a workshop for our experimental products. One in which entrepreneurs can explore, build, and grow new businesses that have meaningful impact on the world. Kormo (meaning "work " in Bangla) is an NBU-first jobs and career development platform, connecting job seekers and employers. Our mission is to generate economic opportunity for everyone. After 2 years in our workshop, we are very excited to come out of stealth mode! This is just the beginning, and as we ramp up our user base and expand our geographic coverage, there are a lot of exciting things to be done. Currently, we are looking to convert our seeker Android app into a web application to launch our product on more surfaces in India and are looking for experienced UI engineers to help us build the UIs for the web app.
As a front end engineer on the team, you will be responsible for helping us build and enhance the user interface for our job seeker web application. You will be working on converting our current interfaces to better conform to our new UI designs. You will also be adding additional functionality to our frontends which will involve building new UIs and interfacing with our APIs to add functionality.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Implement new user interfaces from UI mockups. Add additional functionality and enhancements to our UIs based on product requirement docs. Participate in team meetings and discussions around product development.
