Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector is seeking a C# .NET/Java Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be supporting the US Government Client ETS contract at the US Government Client Engineering location in Merrifield, VA.
Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.
Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field of study; and a minimum of five years' of directly related work experience
5 years' experience working with C#, ASP and Java in the development of enterprise level, database driven web-based applications.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Extensive knowledge of industry best practice to sufficiently provide technology direction to target programs. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems.
Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.
Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance ? US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
Must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.
Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years
Position is based in Washington DC and does not offer relocation assistance
Experience with all stages of the software development cycle from gathering requirements to design, development, testing, and deployment.
Experience working with US Government Client software development processes and procedures.
