Client Profile
Our client is a well-reputed general contracting construction organisation and we are recruiting an experienced civil engineering Contracts Manager to join their MEP construction contracting division in Muscat, Oman.

Responsibilities
Establish and manage project specific procedures, processes and policies and contract administration to manage the contractual specifications delivery on all construction projects related to submittal and approval procedures, budgeting, change orders and control, payments and invoices, reporting procedures, health & safety procedures, quality assurance and quality control processes, testing and commissioning and handover procedures.
Review and analysis of the RFP, pre-tender design and contract documentation and prepare tender award documents.
Draft and review contracts and agreements related to non-disclosure, purchasing, licensing, consulting, master agreements and general terms and conditions.
Manage contractor payments, budget control and procurement activities, variations and claims, for mixed use development projects.
Prepare progress reports to identify and mitigate risks and delays and prepare and manage the project risk register.
Oversee SLA compliance and prepare valuation for interim and final payments.

Essential Skills & Experience Required
15 years' experience in general contracting civil infrastructure engineering contracts management and contract commercial close out, renewals and extensions and release of insurances and bonds.
Minimum 5 years' GCC (preferably in Oman) general contracting and civil engineering contracts managements experience.
Experience of MEP building works and water treatment facilities.
Excellent working knowledge of FIDIC contract standards.
Effective negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
GCC driving license is mandatory.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering – BEng in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying

Candidate Profile
Aged between 37 – 45 years.
Currently living in the GCC, preferably Oman.
Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Fluent in Hindi.
