Client Profile
Our client is a local private organization with diverse business units and we are recruiting an experienced Chartered Accountant with a combination of experience from a Big 4 accounting firm and industry. Reporting to the CFO, the role will be responsible for working on special projects to improve strategic, financial and operational decision-making across the company, grow the organization through business process improvements, new systems implementation, compliance, auditing and FP&A and increase margins.
The Role
Work cross functionally with business leaders on financial and business analytics for strategic decision making and drive improvements in financial planning processes and financial management with strong governance and commercial insights.
Evaluate, recommend, design, implement and manage business process and continuous improvements across business units.
Prepare feasibility studies, financial models, statistical reporting, including financial performance, cost analysis and variance explanations.
Conduct due diligence and provide recommendations on venture finance, new investments, CAPEX plans, working capital, profitability improvement and financial strategy.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
8-10 years' combined experience in Big 4 public accounting and UAE private sector FP&A and business planning with evidence of leading financial projects beyond transactional accounting for process improvement design, strategy, monitoring and reporting.
Strong background in process improvement analysis and implementation, financial strategy, risk management, internal control frameworks, financial modelling, management reporting, budgeting and IFRS.
Chartered Accountancy (ACA) or CFA is mandatory – no other qualification will be considered.
Candidate Profile
Currently living in the UAE.
Aged between 30 – 35.
Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to change the status quo and influence and present to the senior executive team.
