Lubricants & Specialty Lubricants Applications Senior Sales Engineer

Only candidates who meet the following criteria will be considered:
Currently working in a field applications sales engineer role in the lubricants, specialty lubricants or greases industry with a minimum of 3 years' new client acquisition experience in raw lubricant materials for chemical engineering products.
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
UAE driving license is mandatory if living in the UAE.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience currently living in the UAE.
 
Client Profile
Our client is a well-established chemical manufacturing and trading company and as part of their continued success we are recruiting experienced industrial lubricants sales engineers to develop new business opportunities in the UAE and maintain relationships with existing clients.
 
Vacancies Outside the United Arab Emirates
We are also recruiting Applications Sales Engineers to develop new business opportunities in their home markets in India, Pakistan, Russian, CIS countries, Turkey, China, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and maintain relationships with existing clients.
The role will report to the Dubai office and relocation to the UAE will not be offered.
 
Responsibilities
Source and develop new business opportunities for clients who use high volume raw lubricants, specialty lubricants or lubricant additives materials for chemical engineering products through lead generation, networking, trade events and customer site visits to meet sales targets.
Develop and implement growth strategies for a healthy sales pipeline including conducting targeted prospecting.
Increase revenue, volume and gross margin through organic sales and effective account management for Manage credit collection, aged debt and product application issues.
Preparation of sales quotes, RFPs and RFQs, technical documentation and presentations and sales reports.
 
Essential Skills & Experience Required
Currently working in a field applications sales engineer role in the lubricants, specialty lubricants or greases industry with a minimum of 3 years' new client acquisition experience in raw lubricant materials for chemical engineering products.
Strong experience in commercial and industrial field sales and proven record in achieving annual sales targets and driving revenue growth through value-based selling.
Ability to prepare B2B sales proposals and presentations, conduct targeted prospecting and penetrate new segments and businesses.
Effective negotiator with the ability to agree commercial terms, price and delivery and close sales.
Strong applications expertise with the ability to translate customer needs into sales opportunities.
Proficient use of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
UAE driving license is mandatory if living in the United Arab Emirates.
 
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or BS in Chemistry
 
Candidate Profile
UAE based roles – must be currently living in the UAE.
Fluency in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
