Quality Associate Job Description
Primary Job Function:
Conduct quality-related activities within the supplier quality team delivering compliant documents; efficient procedures, process improvements, and innovative solutions.
Provides compliant solutions to problems ranging from moderate to high complexity. Team-oriented and willing to network across global sites. Contributes directly to the success of one or more concurrent projects; possibly leading a small group with a limited scope over several months. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint is essential. Previous Client experience is a plus; specifically including ePAS, SAP, APLM, DMS, and GQMS systems.

Core Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system through supplier quality activities and milestone accomplishments.
1. General – Independently budgets daily work schedule to carry out assigned duties that support business goals. Interacts constructively with employees; managers and cross-functional peers.
Completes tasks, creates compliant documentation, and provides solutions to problems of low to medium complexity. Supports project work and acts as community member.
2. Quality System Compliance - Maintains awareness of industry regulatory standards. Ensures compliance to site level policies and procedures by promptly reporting non-compliance issues to the department manager. Works effectively within the team.
3. Risk Management - Applies basic Risk Management principles to work.
4. Problem Solving - Receives general direction and executes tasks to completion. Proficient at troubleshooting and continuously seeks possible solutions.
5. Design Control / Documentation & Change Control - Identifies needs. Provides reasons and justifications in support of change. Uses network to execute changes in documentation and processes.

Position Accountability / Scope:
Receives general direction. Makes solid decisions based on facts and data. Carries out tasks related to area of responsibility with management oversight.

Minimum Education:
Bachelors degree in Life Science; Engineering; or closely related discipline is required OR relevant combination of education or experience.

Minimum Experience / Training Required:
0 years work experience in this job area. Quality or related field experience preferred. Entry level position. Demonstrates basic understanding of regulatory requirements in the healthcare environment.
