MS Access Programmer- Secret Clearance

Job Description:
The candidate will work onsite at the Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT) in Pensacola, Florida supporting several key offices onboard CIWT.

•Works with US Navy customers to capture and document appropriate functional and technical requirements for solutions to ensure accuracy and high customer satisfaction.
•Maintain a personalized relationship with an existing customer base, assess their needs and support them with a can-do attitude.
•Setup databases using Microsoft Access per the given instructions and modify them to accommodate the system/user requirements.
•Identify and understand the requirements of the users with respect to the system that needs to be developed.
•Test the system at each stage of the development phase and identify bugs which could result in negative user experience and ensure good performance of the database system.
•Provide on-site support to end users after the system has been delivered.
•Make necessary modifications to the system based on user feedback, and improve the overall usability of the system by providing regular system updates.
•Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively on team projects. Must have above average communication and writing skills. Requires 2 years of experience in MS Access database development. Self-motivated - works well independently is a must. Professional demeanor.


Education:
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications:
•2-5 years of directly related computer programming experience with VBA.
•Must have solid skills programming VBA, to include MS Access and Excel.
•Candidate must be a US citizen with a qualifying background investigation (NACLC or higher) within the last 10 years to meet eligibility requirements for an IT Level II Common Access Card (CAC).
•Familiarity with SharePoint a plus.
•Six (6) years' experience with Naval terminology a plus.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills are a requirement of employment.
•Active Security clearance.
•Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
