Position Description
User Interface/Front End is responsible for: User Interface designer and coder for a Secretary of the Air Force (SAF/MG T&E Advanced Analytics project. The nature of the work will include elements of integration, enterprise consulting, compliance and quality assurance, inspection, research design, and statistical and evaluation skills.

Required Skills
•2-3 year of experience in User Interface and software design/development using the following technologies: AngularJS 1.x, NodeJS + Express, HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript, gulp, npm etc.
•1 year of experience with application testing, configuration and performance optimization, spanning management of unit and integration testing processes;
•1 year of experience using GitHub for version control and source code management;
•1 year of experience with application deployment using IBM Bluemix;
•1 year of experience developing in an enterprise-level production environment;
•1-3 Years of experience working with MongoDB and MySQL

Preferred Skills
•Experience with D3 and Leaflet.js (1-2 Years)
•Experience integrating with Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQLite etc.)
•Working knowledge of agile methodology
•Knowledge of Design Thinking Principles and experience in implementation.
•Strong orals and written communication skills.

Provide primary job duties:
The User Interface/Front End main job duties are as follows:
Job Duty 1 with % of time – User Interface Development and Configuration – 10%
Job Duty 2 with % of time – Application Testing (unit and integration testing) – 40%
Job Duty 3 with % of time – Performance Optimization (identifying and executing against opportunities to improve efficiency and application run time) – 40%
Job Duty 4 with % of time – Application Deployment and Integration with Bluemix – 5%
Job Duty 5 with % of time – Presentation of technical material, including participation in the demonstrations of the User Interface to client stakeholders – 5%
