Position Summary:
This role will support the testing and deployment of an aggressive 2018 initiative to improve and enhance existing SAP HCM Payroll configurations to ensure regulatory compliance and achieve necessary process efficiencies. The Payroll Systems Analyst works closely with payroll operations team members to identify and define business requirements and I.T. team members to express configuration expectations and testing feedback. The holder of this position prepares test scripts, conducts and records user acceptance tests for system configuration and integration. The Payroll Systems Analyst must have functional experience with time and payroll calculations, regulatory compliance, payroll tax compliance, and general accounting and will apply the knowledge in identifying, recommending, and supporting system maintenance and enhancements. Additionally, the Payroll Systems Analyst supports payroll business users in troubleshooting and system trainings.

Key Accountabilities:
This role will be filled with someone that has strong SAP Payroll functional experience who will help the payroll department test, document, and deliver on the objectives which are scheduled to address inefficiencies in the current delivered SAP HCM system, increase volume of regulatory compliance and tax changes due to the 2018 tax reform, and an extended project list, which includes but is not limited to Benefits outsourcing, Leave management insourcing, online W-2s for hourly, and an extensive list more of must-dos to stabilize the department production and services.
•Build relationships and collaborate with business users of the payroll processing, payroll tax, and accounting teams
•Document business requirements and functional designs
•Identify technology improvements for payroll processing efficiencies
•Monitor for regulatory compliance changes requiring system configuration changes
•Prepare test scripts
•Perform and document user acceptance testing
•Analyze system results for accuracy
•Write system process specifications and provide payroll training related to changes
•Assist in company projects such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including but not limited to, analysis of payroll impacts

Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills:
•Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college or university
•Minimum of 4 years' experience required with SAP HCM Payroll functional experience with in-depth knowledge of gross-to-net calculations, taxation, garnishments, posting to FICO and 3rd party integrations
•Strong analytical and mathematical skills and attention to details
•Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines
•Strong conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
