Location: San Diego, California
Must be a US Citizen who currently possesses a Secret Clearance.

Minimum 10 years of experience in telecommunications and/or data communications.
Evaluates communication hardware and software, troubleshoots UC network related problems, provides technical expertise for performance and configuration of communications networks.
Performs general UC administration, provides technical leadership in the integration and test of complex large-scale computer integrated networks. Schedules conversions and cutovers.
Supervises staff, projects and maintenance of systems.
Coordinates with all responsible users and sites.
Works well independently as a technical representative of the company. Achieves desired results, anticipates unusual problems and discusses them with leadership.
Participates as a member of the Project team, and provides estimated task requirements and delivers on commitments.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to develop Visio Network Diagram, and solution concept and design via Powerpoint.
Experience in network design and developing configurations in order to meet customer's written requirements as well as meet security requirements as outlined in DISA STIGs.
Fully capable of reviewing and evaluating various testing reports, to include ACAS and Retina, and effectively mitigate reported vulnerabilities and help assess risks.
Understanding of TCP protocols, OSI layers, as well as ISDN and PSTN technologies.
Comprehensive knowledge of VoIP and VTC solutions.
Comprehensive knowledge of H.323, H.263, H.264, SIP, and MGCP.
Must be able to interface with other teams to create an overall solution.

Minimum 10 years of experience in telecommunications and / or data communications.
5 years experience in DoD IT systems.
Technical Bachelor's degree or related experience, preferably in Information Technology or related field of study.

Security +, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Voice/Video/Collaboration.
Experience with Cisco's products and protocols.
Ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues.
Able to work on problems/projects of moderately complex scope.
Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
Able to evaluate unique circumstances and make recommendations.
Excellent planning, organizational and people skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines with a strong work ethic.
Must have experience with Cisco products and protocols.

DoD network design, engineering, or configuration management. Familiarity with DoD systems engineering principles. Experience with DIACAP processes and STIG requirements. Experience designing complex, integrated solutions in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Advanced Cisco certifications.
